  • Fold in the dry ingredients until just combined with the egg white mixture.
  • Fold in the lavender extract and a few drops of purple food coloring until evenly distributed.
  • Fill a piping bag fitted with a round tip with the batter.
  • Pipe small circles onto the baking sheet that has been prepared.
  • To release any air bubbles, tap the baking sheet on a flat surface.
  • Allow the macarons to rest for 30 minutes at room temperature to form a skin.
  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150 degrees Celsius).
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the macarons are set but not browned.
  • Allow the macarons to cool completely on the baking sheet before removing them.
