- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Two baking sheets should be lined with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour and powdered sugar.
- In a separate large mixing bowl, foam up the egg whites.
- Continue to beat until soft peaks form after adding the cream of tartar.
- Gradually add the granulated sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in the almond flour mixture until the batter is smooth and shiny.
- Fill a piping bag with a round tip with the batter.
- Pipe small rounds of batter onto the prepared baking sheets.
- To release any air bubbles, tap the baking sheets on a flat surface.
- Allow the macarons to rest for 30 minutes at room temperature to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the macarons are set and slightly firm to the touch.
- Allow the macarons to completely cool on the baking sheets.
- Pipe caramel sauce onto one macaron's flat side and sandwich it between two macarons.
- Rep with the rest of the macarons and caramel sauce.
- Serve and have fun.
